Rob Thames recently was named senior vice president and chief operating officer of Parkview Medical Center, The Pueblo Chieftain reports. He most recently was chief operating officer at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, a 767-bed hospital.
Thames, who holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in health administration and business from the University of Minnesota, will serve as the hospital’s No. 2 administrator.
Growing up in a family with 10 children, Thames said he was instilled with a mindset of “do for others” by his mother. Away from work, he enjoys hiking, biking, running, sports and performing arts.
