Dell Services announced that is has been selected to provide the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with comprehensive IT infrastructure, application, and user support services. The deal includes a five-year, $120+ million Information Technology Infrastructure Support Services (ITISS) contract.
These new IT services are meant to address system efficiency and cost issues within the agency.
This contract is an extension of Dell and the CDC’s 11-year relationship. Their past partnership has included managing infrastructure designed to help agency researchers and administrators monitor threats to public safety, health, and security.
