IT Leaders Push Back Against Stage Three of Meaningful Use

Leaders in the healthcare IT industry are pushing back against the implementation of CMS’s Stage Three Meaningful Use requirements.  A comment period for the Stage Three requirements closed on May 29, 2015, and drew critical responses from numerous industry groups including the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the American Hospital Association (AHA), the American Medical Association (AMA) and others.  Industry groups and executives have voiced their discontent during the CMS comment period, at healthcare IT conferences and in interviews with media outlets.
