The Board of Trustees at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital has appointed Paul H. Hammes as its new chief executive officer. He will assume this post on October 1, 2013.
Mr. Hammes has over 20 years of healthcare experience, which includes serving as chief operating officer for Novant Health’s Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. As COO of Forsyth, he had overall responsibility for the medical center and its 4,000 employees, who cared for more than 180,000 patients annually. Most recently, he served as an engagement leader and executive with CEO2, a strategic leadership and organizational transformation consultancy group.
