Fitzgibbon Hospital recently reported that Darin L. Haug, D.O., will be transitioning as the hospital’s new President and Chief Executive Officer. After 28 years with the hospital, former President and CEO Ron Ott will be retiring effective May 1st.

He will continue to work part-time in the Fitzgibbon Hospital Emergency Department, a position he has fulfilled since he and his family returned to Marshall in 2012. Dr. Haug had worked in the Marshall community as a private practice physician, emergency department physician, hospitalist and consultant to the Saline County Health Department.
Dr. Haug was formerly the Executive Vice President of Academic and Medical Affairs and Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, now known as KCU, from 2008 until 2012. He is board certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine.
