Bakersfield Heart Hospital Appoints New President and CEO

Bakersfield Heart Hospital (BHH) Board of Directors announced the appointment of David Veillette as President and Chief Executive Officer for BHH, effective June 9, 2014. Veillette succeeds Randy Rolfe, who in May 2014 announced his retirement to BHH staff effective June 1.

Veillette’s career in healthcare spans 40 years in both clinical and leadership roles. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President for Renown Institute for Heart and Vascular Health in Reno, NV. There he redesigned, organized and implemented 4 specialty services in an 808-bed regional medical center. He is past President and Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Goodyear AZ. Prior to that he was President and CEO of the Indiana Heart Hospital, a fully digital heart hospital; and previously he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Oklahoma Heart Center, LLC.
