2014-01-30 – Atlantic Health System to Assume Ownership of Hackettstown Regional Medical Center

Atlantic Health System and Adventist HealthCare announced that the boards of directors of both health care systems have agreed to transfer ownership of Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, a 111-bed acute care hospital, from Adventist HealthCare to Atlantic Health System.

The transaction is subject to state regulatory review which could span several months. Under Atlantic Health System ownership, Hackettstown Regional Medical Center will remain a non-profit, acute care general hospital.
