Description: The City of Danbury through its Emergency Medical Services operation is requesting proposals from qualified Ambulance Billing Services to provide all aspects of ambulance billing, revenue management, financial reporting, and analytical services, including complete management of the billing/revenue cycle process from patient transport to account closure. A well-designed strategy to convert existing accounts into the proposed Ambulance Billing Service’s software is essential.

Danbury Emergency Medical Services is a paramedic level transport (Advanced Life Support) service that responds to approximately 10,000 calls each year. It has bundle billing agreements that permit paramedic intercept revenue recovery with numerous area municipalities. Danbury EMS currently utilizes emsCharts as its electronic medical record platform.
